[..]–Father, look at what Zuriel bought for me- She showed the ticket.
Corin was surprised. –Well, now look at this. I didn’t expect to see their show again-
Corin read the ticket: “Ballet show presented by: Piltover’s Ballet Academy”[..]

On the day of the show Orianna was very impatient. She was roaming around the house, doing nothing but constantly looking at the clock. How would it be like? What about the songs? Will it be amazing? Could she be able to dance like a ballerina? Orianna’s mechanisms started to rush, shaking her arms and legs more frequently than normal. Corin was in the living room when he noticed his daughter was acting strange.
-Orianna, what’s wrong?- He stepped up from the sofa and went towards her. He held his daughter’s shoulders and noticed the vibrations. –Wow, that is not supposed to happen- His look changed, and a small track of fear was taking over him. –Orianna come outside, I mounted a small lab-
-Is there something wrong with me?- Orianna talked very quickly, and she even noticed it.
-Now Orianna!- Corin was imperative now and Orianna followed him up. Once in the small lab Corin searched for some tools and commanded Orianna to sit down in a near table. As soon as Orianna sat down, the table began to shake also.
-Hmm, I think it’s better if you stand up- He took a weird screwdriver and started to open Orianna’s back.
-What could it be?- Corin opened the back of his daughter and was mumbling –The timing gears are working fine, and the main spring and shock absorber are not broken. It doesn’t seem to be dangerous. Your pieces are at normal temperature, and I don’t see any other broken gears. Let’s take a look at your heart.- Orianna knew the procedure, and she took the small key from inside her finger, but this time Corin took it so it wouldn’t break.
-Ok, let’s see what’s wrong- As soon as Corin opened the lid, the light coming from the gear was blinding. Corin took a step back and grabbed some black glasses from the nearby table. Once he had them on, it was just his face in utter impression.
-This is… It shines brighter but there seems no difference, it’s just shaking a little, as it would be…- Corin was even more impressed. He quickly closed the lid and took off the glasses.
-Orianna, are you nervous?- He smiled slightly –Ha! I bet it’s because of the show, eh?-
-Nervous?- Orianna was puzzled –This is how it is?- Orianna looked at her shaking hands
-Don’t worry my child. It passes away, just try to remember something that calms you- Orianna’s thoughts went directly to the ballerina toy and the shaking stopped. Her inner clockworks regain the normal rhythm.
-That was also impressive- Corin stared with his mouth opened –Orianna, I suggest that you should keep your mind in something else; there’s still some hours left before the show.-
Orianna stood up still looking puzzled at her hands and body, not quite understanding what just happened. Nervous? She knew what it meant, being unnaturally uneasy or apprehensive. She never had thought about feelings. This was something new to her. In her year of existence she had never experienced it. Then, Orianna thought about the other emotions.
-Ball, do you feel nervous?- Orianna searched in her companion answers to that which seemed an alien experience. The ball responded with its classical sounds and movements of approval.
-Anger also? Suspicious of who?- Orianna laughed- The guy in the train was not going to harm us. What about sadness?- Orianna looked at the ball, but it didn’t had a response. –I guess we have nothing to be sad about… What about happiness?- Orianna was interrupted by the doorbell. It was Zuriel! Orianna quickly stood up and rushed down the stairs.
-Orianna! It’s time!- Corin shouted from downstairs.- You don’t want to be late or they will not let you enter!- Corin smiled to Zuriel
-Ah, don’t worry so much Mr. Reveck, we have some time ahead of us- Zuriel stretched hands with Corin. Orianna was ready.
-Hello Zuriel- She extended her hand in that peculiar way her arms moved. Zuriel held her hand and with a gesture of respect greeted her.
-Hello Orianna. Well, if there is anything else Mr. Reveck, I will take Orianna to the show and bring her back before midnight.-
-Ball, you know what to do- Corin gave it a small clap on its top. Orianna said goodbye and exited the house. Right before leaving Corin stopped Zuriel for a moment.
-Zuriel, I don’t know how to say this, but, this is not going to end well son. I know you are a fine gentleman, but this is just not right… It's better if you look for a real girl…- Corin stared deep into Zuriel’s eyes, pleading for him to change his intentions.
-Mr. Reveck, when “Ori” died, she left a hole in other’s people hearts, not just yours. If you didn’t create her to heal your wounds and regrets, why would you then? Please, give me chance, so I can also move on- Corin could see himself in the boy’s eyes. He could see the regret and depression held deep within Zuriel’s heart; he knew what it felt like to wake up and see everything in a blur. But, he remembered what it felt like seeing a little spark of joy illuminating every corner of his being, giving it hope. And in that moment, Corin hugged Zuriel.
-Take care of her when I’m no longer here.- Corin said goodbye from the doorsteps and entered the house when they were out of sight.
Orianna was waiting for Zuriel in the corner of the street. She was anxious to arrive to the theatre.
-Ball, today we will see a real ballet show. It will be fun.- Orianna ticked and gave some wind to her giant key. She started to shake, just as earlier that day, she thought about it: Anxiety. But now it was different, it was… controllable; it didn’t last long and soon her inner gears recovered her normal pace.
-Well, isn’t it a cold night?- Zuriel asked when he caught up and adjusting his coat starting walking. Orianna thought about what he said for a second and didn’t move. Zuriel realized, and stopped.
-Orianna?- He was puzzled
-Cold is the absence of heat. But I cannot feel cold. I guess it is- Orianna’s answer made Zuriel realize his poor choice of words. Clearing his throat and breaking the ice the moment made, he replied as if it hadn’t been said.
-The way to the theatre is over there. Let’s go.-
The town was particularly special at night. The magic streetlamps shined with a different arrangement of colors, and with the emptiness of the streets the buildings felt alive. The sky was covered in a white veil of clouds. Zuriel just walked in silence, not really knowing what to talk about…
-So, the league of legends eh- Zuriel thought it would be a good startup conversation.
-Yes. I can get accepted. But I don’t know how- Orianna kept walking while turning her body to face Zuriel. A pretty strange image for anyone else, but Zuriel had overcome that.
-Well, it is a hard task; the league doesn’t accept everyone that wants to take part in it, even to be an apprentice the requisites are harsh. I tried to get in, but didn’t succeed-
-What was it like?- Orianna twisted her head in a curious way.
-Well, a lot of bureaucracy as you might expect in any type of institution. The process was seemly easy. You take a preliminary test of knowledge in magic. If you manage to pass it, you are assigned to a magic test to see if your body will be able to support it. Finally there is the mental test. It is there where most fail.-
-You failed there?- Orianna asked. Zuriel gave a grim smile and looked down.
-Yes, they told me my mind was biased- Zuriel looked away and took a deep breathe. –We have arrived. Look, there is the theatre- He pointed forward.
In the next street was a building made out of marble and cement. Bright lights adorned its rooftop and beautiful statues of angels where part of the decoration outside. The line of people was quite long now. The spokesman at the door was unlocking the doors.
-Well, we couldn’t arrive at a better time- Zuriel’s mood was improving. Once they got to the entrance, Zuriel gave the tickets to the spokesman. Orianna noticed there was some money in between the tickets.
-Hello Mr. Quinn- Clearly, the man knew Zuriel –You brought company this time! Your courtesy seats are available. My co-worker will lead you to them.-
Entering the theatre was an impressive experience for Orianna and the ball, both of them looking around everything and forever storing the memory in their minds. The exquisite walls with small detail paintings and the old-time posters of previous presentations were in perfect harmony with the environment. Taking the closest path, they both arrived to the main dome. A huge candelabrum decorated the center and the dome was full of golden edges and soft yellow lights. The white stairs at the end of the room lead the way into the seats. Zuriel and Orianna took the stairs up to the left following the helpful guide. Upon arrival, the guide opened the door for them.
-These are your seats. The platform will take its place once the show begins- Said the guide –Enjoy the show- Zuriel and Orianna stepped inside. While everything seemed so common for Zuriel, Orianna and the ball were impressed.
-There are so many things. All of them beautiful- Orianna noticed they were on high ground and quite away from the stage. She noticed the huge curtain of purple silk standing high covering the stage. The ball noticed how all the people bellow them took their places. –I would live in a place like this. It is so pretty- Orianna faced Zuriel –Wouldn’t you Zuriel?-
The question was unexpected. –What? Live here?- He thought how boring his studio was, how grey and smelling like iron. Then, he remembered his old house back in Piltover, full of commodities he now lacked, and felt at home. –Yes, I could get used to it- His smile was genuine.
The platforms started to move forward and the lights to fade. Living in a world of magic has surprises everywhere.

He, and i totally wanted to comment and forgot. But now i'll catch up.
On the last part you said that Zuriels character is quite obvious, but i think i actually understood him after this part.^^ Before, i was thinking about something more evil. Good it turned out this way, i like it more. And i also like how real the dialogs sound. They seem as if they actually could have happened, they seem ... natural? In a sense, since Orianna isn't really all that natural.

Also, as everytime, some 'corrections':
"[...]Corin searched from some tools[...]" 'for' or 'from'? And if he searched from the tools, what did he search?
"Orianna said goodbye and exit the house." Should be 'exited' i think.
"Its better if you look for a real girl…" Don't forget the little apostrophe. It is, It's. Another option would be 'It would be better...'
"she left a whole in other’s people hearts" I suppose she actually left a 'hole'.
"The sky was covered in the white veil of clouds." The indefinite article 'a' seems a better choice here: 'in a white veil of clouds'.
"Well, it is a hard task; the league doesn’t accept everyone that wants to take part in it, not even for the apprentices." I'd guess you mean that not even for apprentices it is easy to get accepted, but that doesn't come out clear of this sentence, at least for me.
"Orianna noticed they were on high ground a quite away from the stage." maybe 'and quite away'?
And now onward to the next part on which i actually wanted to comment!^^
